Pain Medicine & Treatment

Pain is a common complaint for patients and is often under-treated. Common symptoms are Sciatica, Neck Pain, Knee Pain and Shoulder Pain. I am board certified in pain medicine and specialize in the treatment of painful disorders with an emphasis on spine conditions. Treatments may include Radio frequency Ablation, Spinal Cord Stimulator, Epidural Injection, Facet Injection, Nerve Block.

There are a number of medications which we may use to treat your pain including Tylenol, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, anti-depressants, anti-seizure medications and Opioids. Many pain medications have significant side effects. My belief and philosophy is to minimize medication requirements for patients and maximize physical therapy treatment, behavioral coping strategies, and procedures that help with pain control.
